Force Characteristics of Unsteady Carreau Flow past Circular Cylinder
The Carreau rheological model is popular for modeling several inelastic, non-Newtonian fluid approximations, such as the shear-thinning property of blood. In spite of its popularity, there was hitherto a dearth of canonical simulation data for such Carreau fluids. Our simulation results of two-dimensional laminar, unsteady, Carreau flow past circular cylinders will serve as benchmark data for future Carreau flow solvers.
